Experience movies, live productions and more in this beautifully restored 1927 Vaudeville theater. You’ll be amazed by the art deco period styling and upgraded, modern sound system.

You’ll also be amazed that movies are just $5 per person and concessions such as freshly popped corn, drinks, and candy are very reasonably priced.

The historic Mar-Va Theater Performing Arts Center is located on Market Street in downtown Pocomoke City and was a well known theater with stage facilities, dressing rooms and an orchestra pit in it’s day.  Once famous stars played at the Mar-Va including some old-time cowboys such as Tom Mix, Roy Rogers, Hop-a-Long Cassidy and Smiley Burnett.

Today, the Mar-Va Theater offers the latest in movies and various live events throughout the year along with their summer Theater Academy and theater rentals. Area youth love to participate and learn the arts of acting and theater production.
