Pocomoke City is Maryland’s “Friendliest Town on the Eastern Shore!” Multiple museums, a refurbished theater, a charming downtown, and river cruises make Pocomoke worth discovering!

Pocomoke City, settled on the banks of the Pocomoke River in the 1600s, was a thriving shipbuilding and commerce center. Three shipyards once operated here along this river front during the late 1800s and early 1900s. Today the town supports several museums and historic attractions which portray their rich history, a 9-hole public golf course, restaurants, shops and a riverfront park.

Pocomoke City is located on Maryland’s Eastern Shore at the intersection of U.S. Route 13 and Route 113, and is five miles from the Maryland-Virginia state line.
